Currently there are no YOUR-CRAFT-FAIRS planned for 2006. The main reason for this being that the early fairs in 2005 were fairly quiet compared to those in the second half of the year. With this in mind any events that are organised for Congleton this year will be from September onwards.
Having said that, I am looking into the possibilities of using another venue for earlier in the year. I can't say where at the moment as negotiations are not yet complete, but it is still within Cheshire.
If this goes ahead I will email all the names on my mailing list offering stall space. If you would like to get on the mailing list please send your details to info@your-craft-fairs.co.uk and I will include them.
Many thanks for your support ...and as they say ...watch this space!
Despite the threat of blizzards we thankfully had a pretty good day weather wise, although it was cold! But that didn't stop the people coming to see us ...there were a lot of people out doing their Christmas shopping in the town, and I'm delighted to say that approx 800 or so paid us a visit. They were not disappointed ...we presented over 40 tables to them in two rooms ...and the corridor in between!
As has come to be expected at this fair, there was a fantastic range of beautiful crafts on display, ranging from wood products to hand made chocolate. It never ceases to amaze me what a high standard of craftsmanship there is amongst the crafters who attend these fairs. What a talented lot they are!
This was indeed the last show of the year at Congleton. If you intended to come along and didn't make it ...don't worry! You can now order selected ranges of the crafts displayed at the fair on our sister website www.yourcraftshops.co.uk Now you don't need to worry about the weather or how far away you live ...pop along and have a browse around without leaving your home ...brilliant!
So, as I close the book for this year, on behalf of the crafters and myself, can I say a big THANK YOU for your support this year and wish you a happy and peaceful Christmas and new year. We look forward to seeing you again during 2006. Bye for now.

The hall itself is an ideal venue for craft fairs. It is roomy and light with plenty of space for 30 to 40 display tables. I am very pleased that several local crafts people now regularly exhibit at the fairs. The events are further enriched by crafters who travel in from the surrounding areas (even from as far as Scotland!) to present their crafts to you. I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you pay us a visit, infact ... "If you like crafts, you'll love this!"
Congleton is in South Cheshire and is easily accessible from the M6. Junction 17 is the closest and is approx 6 miles from the town centre. There is a pedestrianised shopping area with many shops of interest. The Town Hall is situated "just up the road" from the main centre on a main road that has still more shops and an indoor shopping area close by.
Opening times for the event are 10am to 4pm. There is ample FREE parking close by for visitors.
I can be contacted via the “Information Request” page of this website or directly to info@your-craft-fairs.co.uk if you would like further information on any of the stall holders you may have visited at the fairs. I will also pass on any messages you may have for them.
